Wayne Murphy MSc BSc PN1
Strength & Conditioning Coach in Performance & Rehabilitation.
Over the past 15 years, Wayne Murphy has worked with individual and team sport athletes at both amateur and professional level.
He has most notably worked with the IRFU Olympic 7’s teams as well as at Inter County Senior Grade Hurling.
In 2012, Wayne travelled to the University of Delaware where as part of the Strength & Conditioning department he worked primarily with the American Football team, both mens and womens basketball teams, and multiple track & field athletes.
Wayne has experience with a diverse range of clientele and athletes, ranging from youths right up to the senior grade level.
He has helped multiple top athletes to find the right balance between training, work/studies, and life. The primary focus of the Nisus Performance Programme is to identify this balance and facilitate a platform for progressive development and optimum performance.
The Nisus Performance Programme bridges the gap between both academic and applied experience to provide our athletes with individualised scientifically based programming.
Wayne is pictured with 100m & 200m Sprinter, Nicole Walker, of An Riocht Track & Field Athletic Club in Castleisland. Nicole is proudly wearing her Gold Medals from her 1st place finish in both the 100m & 200m Sprints in the Munster Championships, that took place in Tullamore, Tipperary, June 2023.
